About Me
Hi, my name is Elise, welcome to my safe online space. I am a fully qualified counsellor & a registered member of the BACP. I offer my clients the Person-Centred approach, which is a popular approach to therapy in the UK today. This is developed by Carl Rogers & is known as “Client Centred.” This is because as PCC counsellors, we believe that by being offered the right conditions, a human being can change and grow in confidence positively. Person Centred therapy believes that every individual is an expert on themselves.
Therefore this therapy offers a non-directive & non-instructive approach. No advice is given, & the client finds their answers and solutions from within, with the help and skills of the counsellor.
This builds a safe, confidential & therapeutic relationship between the client and counsellor.
I aim to have a deep understanding of every client, being accepting of them & their issues, offering them no judgement & genuineness at all times.
This is me! It's lovely to meet you.
